Blend of Zweigelt (50%), Blaufränkisch (40%), Merlot (10%)
Origin: Ried Pahlen, oldest site on the Heideboden, black earth with sand and Seewinkel gravel
Vinification: spontaneous fermentation seperated in stainless steel tanks, cooler fermentation temperature, maceration for 10 days, malolactic fermentation in wooden fermenters and steel tanks, assemblag in march 2021, storage for 9 months in 500 liter oak barrels.
Alcohol: 13 % vol.
Residual sugar: 1.1 g/l
Acidity: 5.5 g/l
Organic status: certified organic by AT-BIO-402, LN23423/24
Our oldest grapevines are situated in the area “Heideboden” and are between 30 and 40 years old. The soil is sandy black earth with gravel. Drinking pleasure and great potential meet in this wine.
