Soil: gravel, sand, black soil

Harvest: picked by hand September 2017

Vinification: spontaneously fermentation in steel tank, 12 days on skin, maturing 8 months in used 500lt and 225lt oak barrels

 

Alcohol: 12,5% vol. Residual sugar: 1,1 g/l Acidity: 5,5 g/l

 

Zweigelt is our main grape variety. This wine shows the classical cherry-sour cherry fruit and the typical juiciness of the Zweigelt. It is fermented with the natural yeast from the vineyard and ripe for 8 months in 500lt and 225lt oak barrels.
